What we collect
- A random identifier generated on your device. It is not your name, phone number, email, or advertising ID, and we cannot connect it to you.
- The posts you write, which are public by design.
- A handle. It is auto-generated; you can change it. Nothing requires it to be your real name, and we suggest it not be.
What we do not collect
- No email, phone number, or account registration.
- No contacts, location, photos (in the current text-only release), or tracking across other apps and websites.
- No advertising identifiers. There are no ads.
How it is used
- The device identifier attributes your posts to your handle, enforces rate limits, and delivers notifications (such as when someone quotes your post).
- Reports you file are reviewed by a human.
Storage and sharing
- Posts are rendered to images and stored on our servers and a content storage provider (Amazon S3). Posts are public.
- We do not sell or share data with advertisers or data brokers.
Deletion
Deleting the app abandons your device identifier, which orphans your handle permanently. To request removal of specific posts, contact support@creativemindsideasmagazine.com.
